This Tender Moments Collection is just absolutely perfect for those upcoming baby showers and cards!

The card base is pink card stock cut to 6" x 11".  Score on the long side at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Cut a 1 1/2" strip of the printed paper of your choice from the Tender Moments Collection and score the same way 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".  Mat your base card with the print of your choice at 5 3/4" x 5 1/4".  Cut two pieces of the same printed paper at 2 1/2" x 5 3/4".  Mat the two smaller sections of the base card.  Attach Scor-Pal tape to the back of the 1 1/2" strip.  See photo.


Cut two strips of white card stock at 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" and one at 5 1/4" x 1 1/4". Punch out a round scallop from white card stock.  My punch was 1 3/4" but you can use whatever you have on hand.  This will be used now to make your clouds.  Using a Soft Sky Blue Ink just take a sponge dauber and lightly sponge around the scallop and keep moving your scallop as you sponge down and across your strip.


Before your attach your clouds to the very back you will want to attach a brad and some ribbon or string to hang your Welcome Baby Girl banner to.  Attach your clouds to the strips and attach your strip to your card base.

Now you can stamp your balloon and animals and color with chalk or ink or watercolor as desired.  Attach your balloon to the front of your card and two little animals in the basket.

Assemble your crib.  Punch out two tags 1 3/4" x 3 1/4" from the Album Tags and Accents Dies in white card stock.  This will be your headboard and footboard.  See photo below to see to cut the bottom section.

Cut two fence sections in white card stock from the Tulip Cart and Fence Die.  See photo above to see how I removed the three pickets from each end and trimmed the rails.  It should look like the photo when you are done.  Apply Scor-Pal 1/8" tape to each end of the fence rail on the front.  This will then be folded to the back.

Remove the tape and adhere to your headboard and footboard.



Now put Scor-Pal tape on the headboard and one side rail.




Attach the crib to the score line of the card, lining up with the bottom of the card.
Decorate your crib and stamp Welcome Baby Girl on White card stock and cut out with the Tickets and Tags Die.

I added pink foam Classic Roses and three little blossoms from the Tweet Cherry Blossoms Stamp and Die.

Creating Classic Roses

I have been asked to demonstrate how I make my Classic Roses.   They are really pretty simple.  I start with the Classic Rose Die from Heartfelt Creations, the Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, the Golf Tools and some Ink. You can get all of these items on the Heartfelt Creations web page.  I like to use hot glue but I have made many of them with the Designer Dries Clear Glue too! I prefer this Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper because it is very heavy and stands up to all the shaping it takes without falling apart.  It also keeps a nice sturdy flower shape indefinitely.   I die cut out four of the same size petal shapes.  (The one pictured here is the next to the largest size.)  I use ink to "shuck" the edges with a sponge dauber and color the inside with a soft makeup brush.   I use the Golf Tool Shaping set from HC exclusively for shaping these roses.  I poke a hole in the center of each of the four flower petal groups, with the Golf Tool. Moonlight Roses

Here is a card I made for a special birthday.  It was really very simple using the Heartfelt Creations Rounded Lattice Window Die and Classic Roses. This was actually my first card for 2020 and one of my first attempts using foam for the roses.  I hope that you will find this card inspiring. Begin by using the 6"x6"Shutter Fold Card in White.  You will need to cut two 6" circles in the paper of your choice using the outer circle die from the Rounded Sunlight Window Die Set.  I used this beautiful blue plaid paper from the Buttons and Blooms Paper Collection. I then cut the two circles in half, giving you four half circle pieces to cover the two front half circles on the card. Find a pattern of the coordinating paper that you like and cut a 6x6" square for the back opening of the card. Next you will need to cut out four of the Rounded Lattice Window Die from the Lux Gold Cardstock.  Using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive glue the gold die cuts over the bl
